I have 25 pupils in grade one. 24 are ordinary children and one is not. He is Melvin.
Melvin is a nine year old boy. He is special. He is mute and deaf. I never considered having him in my class a tremendous burdened. In fact, he is the cream of the crop. He is a “bibo kid”. He made me smiled and laughed at my stressful times. I don’t have a proper knowledge and experiences in teaching special kids but I tried so hard to impart to him the things he needs to learn. His family can’t send him to proper school for special children because they are financially handicapped.
Melvin is good in arts especially in drawing.
