In a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, gratitude is our anchor. On this Thankful Thursday, let's anchor ourselves in gratitude and celebrate the blessings that light up our lives.
I visited Abbey of the Transfiguration in Bukidnon with my friends.
The Abbey of the Transfiguration, also known as the Transfiguration Monastery, is a Benedictine monastery located in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, Philippines.
Despite being relatively new compared to other monasteries, having been founded in 1983, the Abbey of the Transfiguration has gained recognition for its stunning architecture and serene surroundings. One of its notable features is the Church of the Transfiguration, which was designed by the National Artist for Architecture, Leandro Locsin. The church's unique design incorporates indigenous Filipino elements, such as the use of bamboo and cogon grass, blending modern architectural principles with traditional Filipino aesthetics. This fusion creates a truly breathtaking and culturally rich environment for prayer and reflection within the monastery grounds.
