After two months of vacation, here comes a new month-a month of new school year. The second busiest month for us because we have to structure our room and other necessities for the learning-process. Brigada Eskwela and enrolment are two major activities ahead. What is this Brigada Eskwela?
It is also known as the National Maintenance Week and is observed every May of each year. Capitalizing on the spirit of bayanihan among Filipinos, it encourages parents, barangay residents, local businessman, youth and the community to volunteer resources like financial, materials and labor, and work collectively for the maintenance and minor repair of schools during the month of May to prepare school for the opening of classes in June. Brigada Eskwela successfully demonstrated how the communities can work in teams to maintain public schools.
Special mention to Special Science Elementary School for garnering the award as the Most Prepared School in National Competition…(*salute)
Here are some scenes happened during the Brigada Eskwela in my station this month.
It speaks about the personal experiences of the author, her journey, travels and being enthusiast in joining giveaways, promos and contests...
