Friendly Reminders

1. Funny how big P100.00 bills looks before you drop it into the church tithing box, but it is so small when you take it to the supermarket.

2. Funny how long a couple of hours spent at church seem to be, but how short they are when watching a movie.

3. Funny how we get thrilled when a basketball game goes into overtime, but we complain when a sermon is longer than the regular time.

4. Funny how hard it is to read a chapter in the Bible daily, but how easy it is to read a 100-pages novel or newspaper everyday.

5. Funny how we can get up at 5:00 A.M. to prepare for a game of golf or exercise, but how hard it is to get up at 6:00A.M. to spend time in prayer.

6. Funny how people scramble to get a front seat at any concert or game, but scramble to get a back seat at church services.

7. Funny how we cannot fit a Bible study into our weekly schedule, but we can schedule for other events at a moment’s notice.

8. Funny how much difficulty some have learning a simple gospel well enough to tell others, but how simple it is for the same people to understand and explain gossip about someone.

9. Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they don’t have to believe, or to think, or to say, or to do anything.

Seriously ponder on these and ask yourself, "Am I guilty of these things?’
One thing for sure, I am guilty. So are you?
