I would like to share this paradox. It’s up to you how will you reflect on it.
The paradox of our time:
1. We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers.
2. Wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints.
3. We spend more, but have less.
4. We buy more, but enjoy less.
5. We have bigger houses and smaller families.
6. More conveniences, but less time.
7. we have more degrees, but less sense
8. more knowledge, but less judgment
9. more experts, but more problems
10. more medicine, but less wellness
11. we have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values
12. we talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often
13. we’ve learned how to make a living, but not a life
14. we’ve added years to life, not life to years
15. we’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor
16. we’ve conquered outer space, but not inner space
17. we’ve cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul
18. we’ve split the atom, but not our prejudice
19. we have higher incomes, but lower morals
20. we’ve become long on quantity, but short on quality
21. these are the times of tall men, and short character
22. steep profits, and shallow relationships
23. these are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare
24. more leisure, but less fun
25. more kinds of food, but less nutrition
26. are days of two incomes, but more divorce
27. these are days of fancier houses, but broken homes
28. it is a time when there is much in the show window and nothing in the stockroom
29. A time when technology can bring this message to you, and a time when you can choose either to MAKE A DIFFERENCE or just hit "DELETE".
What do you think, friends, of this paradox? Which part you think touches your inner space?
(The paradox aforementioned is not originally written by me).
It speaks about the personal experiences of the author, her journey, travels and being enthusiast in joining giveaways, promos and contests...
