my so called- niece

1.i was so busy consolidating and editing the forms of NSO before passing it to our team supervisor for checking. suddenly, someone knocking. it was my niece, honey. she is 7 years old, cute and chubby. "my, unsa man na?" ( my, what are doing?), she asked. she called me mommy. i said, " mommy is busy editing forms to be passed tomorrow morning.so just keep quiet. if you wanted to stay here in my room you can but do not make noise. can't you see, i am busy." ( but of course i say it in our own dialect. my niece does not speak and understand english well). she rolled her eyes around my room and smiled. i asked her "why?" she answered, " KAGUBOT IMO KWARTO, MY". in english, " YOUR ROOM IS VERY MESSY, MY"...sigh

2. it is monday. i am absent from work. my niece, honey, went to her school and back after 15 minutes. i ask her why she came home sooo early. she answered that her teacher is out of town. she is murmuring and complaining about the absence of he teacher. i came to think, is the reaction of my niece to her teacher may be the same reaction did by my pupils?? damn!
