i've been working for 7 years now. i was a SBT for three years. (perseverance is the virtue).
that time, the superintendent told me that there is no new and vaccant permanent item for me. that's why i stayed longer as SBT.
last 2005, the new superintendent installed. new manager, new hope for new permanent item. to my dismay, she just added my burden. you know why? she gave the new item positions to the new applicants and to the new applicants who never passed to any interviews and application processessssss. Grrrrrr!
i approached her telling her about my intention but to no avail. not to prolong my agony and frustration, i wrote a letter to the president of the philippines. i stated everything in the letter- my situation, my feelings, my observations and my frustrations. after 3 months ( not really sure), the secretary of education sent an endorsement letter with furnished copy to the region office and city division office. when knew about the letter, she got mad. (who cares!)
after a year, she gave me an item, a permanent position, with a heavy heart,my sacrifices and tears were my soul evidence, before she finally signed and approved my appointment.
anyways, i still thanked her despite of "not so good" experiences with her.
on 2007, she retired. (thanks God!)
i touched her ego. she touched my dignity.
Lesson: stop corrupting please!!!!!
