Lawis

Lawis, as what the local folks called this area, is one of the shorelines found in the island.

it was sunday and so hot day. i decided to go to the beach. i asked the other girls to abide with me. they steadfastly said yes.

heading to the Lawis:
we passed through the hillside. we saw filed coconuts. someone cooked copra.
stones welcomed us...stone hopping is the game here.

my friends, it is my pleasure to introduce to you our first time ever volunteer teacher in SES. he teaches grades 5 and 6. why it happened? he voluntarily teaches pupils in grades 5 and 6 since the real teacher filed maternity leave.

but his duties ended yesterday. i felt sad but i can't do anything about it. at least for a very short time, he is consider as our new family.

after the 3-day storm named, ondoy, the sun shines brightly, the sea waves calmer than yesterday and the wind, the wind is more relaxed than the other day.

Friday the Fourth of September

it's friday at 6:00 o'clock in the morning. i can't resist to capture this very amazing view of the island..so serene.

i feel calm...

My Fave Tambayan (hang-out)

during free time or after a day class, i stayed in this part of Sidlakan- the so called Pantalan.

pantalan is the best area where i could relax. fresh air, breathtaking views and clear water/sea. i could do, fish watching, birds watching and my fave of all, clouds watching. at night, esp if is full moon, pantalan is super the best place to hang out, too.
