I don’t like going out with my family. I’d rather stay at home and watch shows on television or listen to my favorite songs on DVD player. For me, it’s kinda boring being with them.
September 28, 2008, my mother asked me to come with them. They will visit my Auntie’s family in Brgy., Honrado. I said “yes”, though at the back of my mind, said “no”.
I played Hangaroo in my PC. My mother reminded me to get ready. I just nodded not even looking at her. I continued playing. After three minutes, my mother reminded me again to get ready. I slowly switched off my computer and changed clothes.
On the way to my Auntie’s house, I was very silent. I didn’t join with their conversation and laughter. My nieces were very annoying. My mind was filled with lots of stuff.
We arrived at 12:30 noon in Brgy. Honrado. My Auntie Portat and Uncle Inggoy prepared lunch for us. Before taking lunch, I played around with my nieces. I mingled with my Auntie and Uncle. They were very happy seeing us. I could feel their excitement of meeting with us. My silent mood changed to happy mood. This is the first time we visited them after the long time. (I was in elementary when I visited them.) Even for the short time we’ve been with them, I considered it as one of my great days in this planet earth.
What a great feeling to be with the real family!

I love being with my family all the time although there are moments when I need my private space. I can understand how you feel and it's nice that you enjoyed being with your extended family in the end. :)
It's very rare to read blogs from teachers in Surigao. You should continue this. It's very interesting. It's also nice to know how you get on with little kids. I'm looking forward to reading more from here! :)
