I've been so lousy and lazzzzzzzy writing something (until now;-)) these few days. I just wanna inform everybody that I am doing good..I keep on visiting your site and leave messages and comments though I wasn't able to update mine.

Word to Ponder

I admire McCain for what he did – CONCEDE. It’s not easy for a politician who tried and did his best just to win but for McCain he didn’t mind it. He is so humble enough accepting that he defeated by Obama. McCain showed what a real and good man should be. For me, he is the best model to all politicians specifically the Filipino politicians. Sad to note, that CONCEDE is the hardest word to do for Filipino politicians. Instead of accepting the reality that they lose, they will file for re-count that resulted chaos.

Where you can find that kind of valuable attitude?
Only in the Philippines!

Isyu 101

Philippines ranked 5th suffering severe hunger based on international survey. So kind for the surveyor, if I will rank Philippines, it is in 2nd place.

GSIS declared that they don’t have fund. Ha? It’s surprising! Where the money did go? We remitted monthly. What can you say about this Winston? GSIS was so conceited declaring that they wanna buy the stocks of Meralco but they can’t afford to pay their clients (pensioner).

COMELEC still need to upgrade their lists of voters. I’ve been serving elections for 5 times I think. I noted 5 times in the narrative report that there are some people written twice or more in the list but no action taken at all. What the use of the narrative report, huh? That’s the reason why that flying voters or even the dead people can still vote.

Rampant corruption, when will it end? (In my dreams….)

Mid-Year...

I slept very late the other night. It is the reason why I’m not feeling well today (stressssssss)…
The conference the other day gave me a headache because I brought the unfinished work at home. (I can’t say NO to my boss).

I attended a One Day Conference in the Validation of DEDP Reports

It was a very hectic, exhausted, and super-dooper-paper-work day for all of us. The pics above showed some of the scenes happened that day.

And for the gastronomic delight, the caterer served eggpie, my fave snack food, and mango juice in a tetra pack.

Who attended the said conference?
1. The division superintendent
2. Public school district supervisor
3. School principals
4. head teachers
5. school in charge

Sad to note: We didn’t finish the report.;-(

Mardi Gras

Awoooh…Awoooh…Awoooh!
Sounds familiar right?

Filipinos are known to be faithful of their customs and traditions. With these, Surigaonons, one of the ethnic groups in the Philippines, always upt in commemorating Undas o Araw ng mga Patay (All Soul’s Day).

Almost half of the Surigaonons spent their 2 days in SMPI Where Memories are Forever, a private cemetery in the city. The said cemetery organized activities related to the event.

On the first day, November 1, 2008, SMPI celebrated activities like Mass at 3:30PM followed by Halloween Party for kids and adults. The scariest costume received a prize. The day ended with fireworks.

On the second day, November 2, 2008, SMPI supervised activities namely: Mass at 3:30PM, followed by a Mardi gras contest. Below are the pics of three (3) contingent joined the Mardi Gras.



Contingent No. 1 from SNNHS. Won the 2nd place and got the award for Best in Costume.

Contingent No. 2, Morales Performing Arts. Won the third place and got the award for Best in Musicality.

Contingent No. 3, Ipil National High School. Won the first place and received the award for Best in Choreography.

Who says that Halloween is for the western people only? Anyways, Filipinos specifically the Surigaonons tried hard to celebrate Halloween in a more solemn and enjoyable way.

I wanna extend my congratulations (feeling close kami;-)) to the newly elected President of the USA, President Barack Obama.

In Need of Books

Books are very essential to everyone because it is used for reading.

Reading is one of the basic learning skills a man should learn.

A preggy mum reads books even his/her baby is still in the womb, believing that the fetus inside absorbs what she is reading. An old man reads books to enhance more his reading skills in spite of his age.

We read books for personal reasons.

But how can a child learn to read or develop his reading skills if there is very limited number of books or no availability of books at all at home and in the school?

First day of my teaching is SES (2003); I noticed voluminous books piling on the floor. The books were covered with dust and obsolete. Some pages were destroyed and not arranged consecutively. I felt sorry looking at the books.

(Daaahhh)

I’ve been searching websites and sent messages, posting my sentiment of how depressed I am of wanting of sponsors to donate books for the school to be used by the school children. Unfortunately, I received none.

What about, YOU! Can you donate some?
