Beach Bumming!

If it is Sunday, it's a beach day!

I was invited by a friend to join with them at the beach because it is her youngest son's birthday! I was reluctant to abide with them because piled paper works waiting for me to be scanned. But, I won't let this day ruined by those papers. Let the paper works itself, hahahha.

It was so hot Sunday! Hot and windy! Huge waves rolled over the shore. The children couldn't swim and enjoy the water as much as they could because of the huge waves. Poor kids. :-)

Here are some photos I took that day. :-)

Enjoy!

Perfect 10 @ 27

Meeting with my high school classmates, friends, and batchmates was one of the momentous events that I treasured so much this year.

Yesterday, December 27 marked the SNNHS Batch 98 Reunion, held at Fiesta Resort, Barangay Ipil, Surigao City. Though the resort was not officially open to the public, it allowed us the opportunity to hold a party. Thanks to Michelle, a batchmate, for allowing us to be in her resort. The resort has a huge swimming pool divided by two, the first half is for the kids and the other half is for the adults. If you live near Surigao City you may visit the resort. It will open on January 2009. You will surely like to spend your day there to relax or whatever.

About the reunion, wow! It was so much fun. Everybody enjoyed it.

Kudos to the organizers. And congratulations to the newly elected officers/coordinators.

Merry Christmas:-)

OMG! One day more it is Christmas once again. At 12 midnight will be the noche buena.

It's my first time to greet and post a Christmas message here. So, I'm kinda super excited and happy that in this way I may able to greet other people around the globe a Merry Christmas. ( As if others can read my message:-))

With this, I would like to share the text message I received from my dear Ate...Ate Ludy. The message goes: The world says it's CRISIS. No money no joy, but for GOD's people there is no crisis because GOD is the owner of everything and HE is in control. Have a blessed Christmas and an abundant new year to all.

Merry Christmas:-)
God bless

A Christmas To Remember

December 19, 2008 was our district party. District III ( which I belong) consists of 16 schools with 128 teachers. The party started early at 8:00 in the morning. I came late :-(. My principal kept on looking for me (well he maybe miss his most beautiful teacher :-)) according to my co-teacher. I thought the party will be delayed due to heavy rains but I was wrong. I came at 10:00 0'clock. Fortunately, Mrs. Supervisor didn't notice me. If She does, I am sure I can dance or sing in front of them. (It is the way she punishes teachers late in coming esp during the meeting).
My co-teacher, Bing, approached me as soon as I abide the group. She kissed on my cheek and greeted me a 'Merry Christmas'. So sweet for her.

The emcee announced that the highlight of the program is the crowing of the instant Christmas King and Queen. Each school must have a representative. So, they chose me. (We are only three in our school:-))It is not because I am the beautiful one, but because I have the thicker face in the group daaahh. (What an unlucky day for me!) The winner to be crowned Queen must have the highest amount generated that day. The amount I earned is only thirty pesos (hahaha so poor of me). Of course I did not win. I earned less because I was so shy to ask money from others like a beggar ba :-) in an enjoyable way.

After the crowning of the Christmas King and Queen, presentations from different schools followed. Our group showed our hidden talent, we danced. I can't focused on our dance because Mrs. Principal, one of the principals in our district, teased me. They made fun on me. She said: "I thought you can't dance V, but you can dance well. (with a smile on her face)...

The awaited moment that day was the announcement of Mrs. Supervisor, telling that the additional bonus will be released after the party. We were happy upon hearing it but still sad because the additional bonus is not the right amount that we should receive. (may utang pa ang Gobyerno sa amin:-()

Merry Christmas :-)
God Bless

Classroom Christmas Party

I arrived on December 15 in my station. When the children saw me descending from the motorboat, they shouted out loud and jumped happily. They hurriedly approached me, picked all my things and carried it all headed for my house. They asked me if the party will push through. I nodded my head to answer their simple question. I know they are super excited about it. Their smiles proved how excited they were.

December 16, the date the children waited for. Early morn, they knocked the door of my house and got their gifts. They immediately took a bath in the well while I was busy preparing food for the party. (Of course, I'm not a good cook, I asked someone to do it for me. Special thanks to Dumandan Family).

The party started at 10:00 AM. They presented dances, songs and poems. They wore sexy and beautiful dresses. They were all beautiful and handsome that day. I worried that the chocolates I bought may not be enough for them. Fortunately, they were satisfied of what they received. Truly, Christmas is for the children.

God bless:-)

Mid-Year...

I slept very late the other night. It is the reason why I’m not feeling well today (stressssssss)…
The conference the other day gave me a headache because I brought the unfinished work at home. (I can’t say NO to my boss).

The District Data Map, I made at home. (the cam doesn't work well)

The sequel of the unfinished conference...

The said meeting attended the same personnel mentioned in One Day Conference.
God bless everybody. Have a great weekend;-)

One Day Conference

What made me busy last November 4, 2008?

The busiest ever day....

paper and ruler...

papers.... if only these papers turned to paper billsssss.....
I attended a One Day Conference in the Validation of DEDP Reports

It was a very hectic, exhausted, and super-dooper-paper-work day for all of us. The pics above showed some of the scenes happened that day.

And for the gastronomic delight, the caterer served eggpie, my fave snack food, and mango juice in a tetra pack.

Who attended the said conference?
1. The division superintendent
2. Public school district supervisor
3. School principals
4. head teachers
5. school in charge

Sad to note: We didn’t finish the report.;-(

Mardi Gras

(Late posting:-))

Awoooh…Awoooh…Awoooh!
Sounds familiar right?

Filipinos are known to be faithful of their customs and traditions. With these, Surigaonons, one of the ethnic groups in the Philippines, always upt in commemorating Undas o Araw ng mga Patay (All Soul’s Day).

Almost half of the Surigaonons spent their 2 days in SMPI Where Memories are Forever, a private cemetery in the city. The said cemetery organized activities related to the event.

On the first day, November 1, 2008, SMPI celebrated activities like Mass at 3:30PM followed by Halloween Party for kids and adults. The scariest costume received a prize. The day ended with fireworks.

On the second day, November 2, 2008, SMPI supervised activities namely: Mass at 3:30PM, followed by a Mardi gras contest. Below are the pics of three (3) contingent joined the Mardi Gras.

Contingent No. 1 from SNNHS. Won the 2nd place and got the award for Best in Costume.

Contingent No. 2, Morales Performing Arts. Won the third place and got the award for Best in Musicality.

Contingent No. 3, Ipil National High School. Won the first place and received the award for Best in Choreography.

Who says that Halloween is for the western people only? Anyways, Filipinos specifically the Surigaonons tried hard to celebrate Halloween in a more solemn and enjoyable way.

The reason why we stayed for 2 afternoons in SMPI.

The chapel.

The day ended with very superb fireworks. ;-)
