Island Dream Resort

Where did you spend your vacation days or your holiday? It is summer here and it is soooo hot. Gees, my sweat is nonstop. Taking a bath is not enough to make myself cool. Good thing, I was given a chance to stay in a resort near to the beach. My friend, Rose and I, went to General Luna, Siargao Island and stayed in Island Dream Resort for 2 days and one night.

Island Dream Resort is located in a Municipality of General Luna, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte. It is one of the resorts where you can stay and have a fab summer getaway.

Villa Oasis consists of 2-bedroom villa. Each room has its own comfort room and bathtubs.

We occupied the double-bed room in Grand Villa. In this villa, it has no bathtub. It is very cozy and comfy. Feeling VIP for one night. The rate of this room per night is Php 2,200. I guess it is quite costly. take note: free wifi.

Short trip to Cabadbaran City

I went to Cabadbaran yesterday. I left home at 11.30 AM. I arrived in the Bus Terminal after 7 minutes and waited for another 15 minutes inside the bus to move. At exactly 2:00PM, I arrived in Cabadbaran City.

Cabadbaran City is a small city. It has 36 Barangays. It became city last July 27, 2007 through the effort of the Amantes.

What I noticed in Cabadbaran City is, it is very clean and smoke free city. I can never see any body smoking in public area especially in their bus terminal. Kudos to the government of Cabadbaran City for strictly implementing the law. Their comfort room in the bus terminal is very clean, too. It is well-cleaned by the maintenance staff.

Cabadbaran City is very accessible. If you are from Surigao, it takes two hours by bus or van to reach Cabadbaran City. If you are from Butuan, one hour or less by bus or van. It can be reached also by air. From Manila and Cebu,  it can be accessed via Surigao Domestic Airport or Butuan Domestic Airport. By sea, via Surigao Port and Lipata Port or by Nasipit International Port.

My short visit in Cabadbaran City is "personal matter". I wasn't having a good time there. After processing my "personal business matter", I went home immediately.

Island Hopping

Philippines is consists of 7107 islands. Each island has its own best delicacies and best services offered to the tourists- local or foreign. Each island is definitely beautiful, wonderful and magical.

One of the best things you can experience while having wonderful time in Philippines is island hopping. So, where is the best place to do island hopping? The best answer is, Siaragao! Specifically in the Islets of Daku, Naked and Guyam.

Siargao is known for its white sand, clear crystal water and gigantic cloud nine. Once you’ve visited the Island of Siargao, you will surely fall in love with it.

I will be in General Luna, Siargao on April 28, 2012. Yay! So excited about it. I am with Verna and Rose on that day. We will surf the land and sea of GL J. This is gonna be a fantastic vacay for us for sure.:-)

I heard that last Holy Week, famous actress, Anne Curtis with her BF had a great time in GL. They did island hopping, surfing and swimming and a lot more!
