Summer Class 2012

Education is a lifelong process. It has no end...It has no limit. I always inculcate the importance of education to the minds of young ones because I noticed that education for them is unimportant. They don't really value it.

Though I am tired of going to school and study lessons but I needed to engage myself with the new trends in education. I have to update myself with the newest policies and fads in education order to become a competent and globally competitive citizen.

To prove it, I enrolled myself in summer classes program.

My classroom is located at the fourth floor of the school building, these are the views I always see every time I pass on the aisle heading to my room.

I took the stairs in going up and down the building. Well, I don't have a choice. The building has no other way in going up and down the building. This is the view of the aisle going to my room.

And this is my room...empty...only chairs  were present :-)

This is my chair...

and these are my classmates with our Prof:-)

Take care.

My CRoom

Welcome...Mabuhay!

what can you see and say? look at the ceiling, what do you think? i hope it will be given good budget this year for repair. what about the windows? yes, super sira na po 'yan. it can't be closed. i can't hold it either kasi wala na po masyadong nails na nakahawak diyan. I just remind my pupils not to touch the windows kasi sensitive baka magdamdam, mahulog pa...lol.

Ganito po yon, on the right side, wooden jalousies na sira. On the left side ng aking room, glass jalousies na po na bago. Bakit di pantay? kasi po last year, binigyan ako ng budget for windows repair daw. yung budget inteded for my classroom lang. hindi lang mga bintana ng room ko ang sira, also the windows of my ka-trabaho sira din. kaya, hinati namin ang glass jalousies. unfair daw for her. ako nalang nag-suggest sa kanya na maghati kami. pareho kami puro one-sided windows lang ang bago..:-)

this is the scenario u can see as u enter in my croom.
i am handling two grades everyday. Combination teacher po me. on the right rows naka-upo ang lahat ng grade one. sa kabila naman ang grade two. Combination classes po tawag diyan. after a day work, paos na boses ko...

Sheryl's Homeroom

A novice teacher like me needs guidance, motivation and determination to become effective and competent teacher. To achieve the so called needs, I must structure and improve my classroom. With this, Venessa and I, visited one school in the city, accredited by APES so that I may able know and apply what will I be learned from their school to my classroom.(Benchmarking).

This is Sheryl's homeroom. I used the term home than class because her room is more than a classroom . As you entered on her room, you will feel you are at home. It's comfortable, well-ventilated and conducive for learning.

The left side of her room. The Im's hanging on the windows are about colors and basic sight words.
The front side. Very colorful, isn't it? Framed green board with light green curtain and ledge.
The right side of her room. The Im's hanging are about the months of the year, days of the week and shapes.

Her mini-kitchen with health kit , glass stand and medicine cabinet. Meet the owner of this well-structured homeroom, the lady looking at, she is Sheryl.

Her colorful and updated unit board
Supervisory Corner

Bulky boxes used to keep activity, assignments and quiz notebooks.

Teacher's cabinet where she kept her modules and item bank.

Note: If you want a well-strutured classroom you'll have to loan...:-)
