Katibawasan Falls

Katibawasan Falls is located in the Island of Camiguin dubbed as the Island Born of Fire. It is one of the main attractions in Camiguin. When you visit Camiguin, never fail to add in your list Katibawasn Falls.

It is my second time to visit the waterfall. I am still amaze of its beauty. It is one of a kind. It is mysterious.

Heading to Katibawasan falls is not easy for us. Last time, 3 years ago, I didn't find difficulty ascending to the falls as what I've experienced today. It is because the cab we rented can't ascend the road going to the falls. We needed to walk and run and walk and run just to reach the falls.

After too much effort/energy/sweats exerted, we finally landed the falls.

 How can you say NO with this beauty.

Katibawasan Falls is not hard to visit. It is just our cab didn't work well that day. For those adventurous people, you will surely love Katibawasan Falls.

Summer Class 2012

Education is a lifelong process. It has no end...It has no limit. I always inculcate the importance of education to the minds of young ones because I noticed that education for them is unimportant. They don't really value it.

Though I am tired of going to school and study lessons but I needed to engage myself with the new trends in education. I have to update myself with the newest policies and fads in education order to become a competent and globally competitive citizen.

To prove it, I enrolled myself in summer classes program.

My classroom is located at the fourth floor of the school building, these are the views I always see every time I pass on the aisle heading to my room.
 

I took the stairs in going up and down the building. Well, I don't have a choice. The building has no other way in going up and down the building. This is the view of the aisle going to my room.

Countdown is Over

You've been counting the days left you have to stay with your Alma mater. You have been uttering the words "sad and miss" when the time come. You are sad because you gonna miss your classmates, teachers and friends. You will miss those days you spent with them- happy and sad moments you shared.

The time has come. The countdown is over. The moment you have been waiting is NOW.

This is my moment also seeing you wearing white toga, handling your diploma and smiling proudly. Telling the people around that you made it perfectly. For that, I am happy for you. I am happy for your parents. Keep it up, Lie. Be good always. And most of all, congratulations!

Education is a continuous learning process... It does not end after graduation. Indeed, it is just the first step to take for another higher level of learning. Thus, be grateful to God for the blessings he bestowed upon us everyday.

APPES Accreditation

Surigao West Central Elementary School (SWCES) is one of the central schools in Surigao City. It is located in Barangay San Juan, Surigao City. It has more than 2000 pupils officially enrolled this S.Y. 2011-2012. It is considered as the second most populated school in the city.

Last August 24, 2011 was the APPES evaluation. There were three evaluators all the way from the DepEd Region Office, Butuan City. And three from Surigao City Division. I considered it as the Judgement Day. we were judged and evaluated based on the data we presented and the conducive teaching-learning environment we initiated.

It was a very tiring day. Preparing for a one-day evaluation is not so very easy. We suffered "countless" sleepless nights. I stayed late in school just to file, arrange, beautify and clean the four walls and corners of classroom.

I stayed in the principal's office every night just to print, encode,  print, paste, labeling, put the documents to its folder and so on just to have an organized EMIS and Supervisory corners.

Thank God, the hardwork we exerted was worthy. We passed the Level 1 APPES evaluation with an above average grade of 7.28 which is the passing grade is only 3.

To the Teaching Staff, pupils, parents and most of all to the ever dynamic, innovative and hardworking principal, Mrs. Julia T. Paqueo, Congratulations! Yehey!
