My Childhood Bestfriends Ever

After meeting my Esprikitik group, I am proudly to present my childhood bestfriends.
We've been friends for more than 25 years. They have their own family and kids now. (I remain single...LOL. Best wishes for me!)

Fellows, here they are:

1. She is Mommy Rooselyn. Below are her kids.

He is Peterson. He is 4 year-old super active boy.

With his mum, meet the super cutie BJ. He will turn one this March.

He is AJ. He is the middle child yet more mature than his kuya Peterson.

(I don' t have pics to share here about my three remaining bestfriends).

2. Jenirose. She's presently working now in UAE. Her daughter is JJ.

3. Leocilla. She's in Cagayan de Oro City right now. Happily married and has 2 kids.

4. Alma Rose. We seldom see each other because she's busy taking care of her family. She has 3 beautiful daughters.

Meet the Esprikitik Group

One of the traits I owned is being- friendly.I have different groups of friends.
Each group shared their utmost and precious time that made me who I am.
One of best groups I am with is the ESPRIKITIK.

Here they are:


1. Meraljean. She works as a store manager in one of the food chains in the city.

2. Cristy. She is a Science high school teacher presently working in Manila.

3. Mayel. A high school teacher in General Luna, Siargao, Surigao del Norte.

4. Katy. A Science teacher in Dapa, Siargao.

5. Mary-Ann. She's presently working in Malaysia.

5. Hazel Ann. She works in one of the private companies in the city.

6. Ferdinand. A firefighter.

7. Sammy. The big man with a big heart. He is now a Principal.

8. Lucelle. A Mathematics teacher. Very intelligent gal.

9. Ruby. The sexiest and one of the "ates" in the group.

Award...Award

I feel happy and overwhelmed everytime I received an award especially from Miss Amy. (Well, all my awards and tags gave/passed to me by Miss A).

The Gift

I considered myself fortunate enough to receive a bracelet as token from my mentor when I was in Grade Six. Even though, I was so shy to express my gratitude to her that time but God knows how grateful I was.

I don’t have her photo to post it here but in my heart and mind she was the woman with dignity. And exemplary teacher, too.

After our graduation, she retired. She stayed in Cagayan de Oro City. Sad to note, I haven’t heard any news from her until now. I don’t even know if she’s still alive or not.
But for sure her gift was carefully kept by me. I’ve been keeping it for almost 16 years. And I will always keep and treasure it till the end of my life.



This is my gift for myself this year. It’s not that expensive…LOL.

The two-colored cassava pie gave to me by Kimmy on her birthday last November 2008.

Sea Urchin

Hey Gang, slowly.:-)

Have you eaten the meat of the sea urchin (“tajom” in Visayan dialect)?
You should try it! It’s delicious…LOL

Sea foods are rich in iodine. Iodine helps to prevent the occurrence of goiter. Goiter is one of the common illnesses nowadays. (I guess I need enough iodine for my own sake.)
It’s not easy to get sea urchin from the water. It needs extra careful because its spines might harm you. And it is very painful to be injected by its spines. (I was once injected by its spines in my right hand. It bruised. I can’t write for days).

I approached two brave men to get sea urchin for me. Luckily, they got fatty meat of sea urchin. If it is fatty, it is yummy. (They said, if you want to eat a fatty and tasty meat of sea urchin, get it when the moon is full. So, check the calendar first before getting the sea urchin).

The men cleaned well the sea urchin. How? They put it all in a net. They rolled, rolled and rolled it on the water until no more or less spines can be seen. Because, the fewer spines the better to hold the sea urchin. Then, I can start enjoying its tasty and salty meat. Love to eat the meat of sea urchin especially with cooked cassava and camote.

WANTED: Perfect Me

Practice makes perfect. But nobody is perfect, so, why practice?. So hilarious but quite true, isn’t it?

Their lives, your life, my life is not perfect at all. I tried so hard to be a perfect friend, lover, daughter and sibling but I can’t, can you?

Life is so boring without trials, victories, insanities, and tears. We weep…we cry…we sing…we dance…we laugh…we fail…we stumble…we just so quiet at one corner. Oooh, What a life!

The Pact

I have a friend. Her name is Syang. She’s single. She is an intelligent, kind and gorgeous lady. She made a pact to herself that she will marry this year by hooked or by crooked…LOL.

Well, good luck to her. She deserves to have all the good things in this beautiful world.

(My apology to Syang about posting this stuff here. She doesn’t know I posted it here. If she does, she gonna kill me…LOL)

New Year Resolution Tag

Whew! I've been thinking and thinking and thinking what will be my New Year Resolutions.
I'm not a type of person who always sets New Year resolution every new year because I don't want to. But I guess, this time I have to try once.

Thank you again, Miss Amy for passing this tag. I've been trying hard to come up to have this tag complete.

These are my new year resolutions. Hope it will realize.

1.Be more resourceful so that I can share the best for the learners. 2. Be more determined person.

3. Be friendlier, (like Casper), as long as I am still alive. Friends help to develop my inner being.

4. Be more hard working like a bee. It never stops looking for food for survival.

5. Be more responsible. Sometimes I lack this trait.

6. Be healthier. I've been sickly these few days.

7. Be kinder. (Not only to the animals) but also to the people acting like animals:-(

8. Be more patience. To avoid eruption of my tantrums.

9. To lose weight. I am getting fatter and fatter.

10. Be more prayerful. Prayer is the most fervent of all.

11. Be more open-minded person.

12. Eradicate being so lazy.

Welcome 2009!

How’s your New Year? Was it really happy? Me, yes! I spent my new year with my family as always for 27 years of my complicated life. (Being with my family was, is, will the happiest day for me). Nothing really especial happened. I mean nothing new. Mid night noche was the main event (because eating is my best hobby ever). This time no more spoiled chiffon cake. Text messages flowing in in my cp. I was so busy dropping back greetings to my avid texters and closest friends. At one o’clock, I took a beauty rest. Not knowing that my Auntie, waited for me in her house. She thought I will spend time in their house to celebrate with them. (Sorry Auntie, I needed some time to rest:-)) To payback the time she waited for me, I visited her at 10:00 am. (Nag-videoke lang naman kami. Pinoy na Pinoy).

By Chance...

She was checking and grabbing some pictures posted by Karen in her Friendster account. She grabbed the pictures taken during the High School Reunion last December 27, 2008 at Barangay Ipil.(Grabbing pictures is the least thing she could do coz she don’t have the best cam to capture the magnificent moment). Scrolling down the pictures, she noticed this one guy who caught her interest. To show her admiration to the guy, she saved his picture as wallpaper in her PC…LOL. Do you think it is only a simple admiration? (I dunno!) She feels like she is a high school student who runs after her crush blushing. (I’ve been grinning typing this article. I don’t think it needs to be posted here. But, it is posted! :-) Blahhh!
